8 Reasons Why Animal Exercises Make You Younger

More and more men and women in their 20′s to through the 60′s are discovering the power of moving like an Animal to chisel a strong, fit, lean and mean physique, completely swearing off cardio and weights. Animal exercises are ideal for humans regardless of age, especially those over 40.

Why is this? There are a number of reasons but here are just 8:

1. You are your own gym. No need to waste time and money at a gym. You can work out any place, any time, any which way you want. Who has time to travel to the health club every day and fight for the machines?

2. Animal exercises build useful and functional muscle. Simply stated the more functional our bodies are, the more we are able to do, the easier our life is.

3. The compound movements involved in Animal exercises help produce natural hormones like HGH (Human Growth Hormone). These levels decrease as we age, making us older. HGH builds muscle, reduce fat, improve skin.

4. Animal exercises hit all major muscles groups and small stabilizer muscles used in balance and agility. So this means your muscles are stronger and more resistant to injury.

5. Animal exercises are resistance exercises and therefore increase bone density.

6. Animal exercises are actually fun to do. The variation is endless so you’ll never get bored. This means you’ll keep doing them until until it’s time to check out.

7. Animal exercises give you a superior cardio workout, better than all others.

8. Animal exercises do not leave you in pain and injured like weights or running distance.

I’ve just given 8 reasons why the Animal exercises as explained in Animal Kingdom Conditioning make you younger, healthier, leaner and stronger.
All the best,

Eddie Baran

Almost 60, flabby, bad back yet turning into steel

Whoever said you’re supposed to stay old, fat and decrepit at 60 is an idiot. And let me tell you, there are lots of them out there who think this way.

Well, I just got this letter from a man who’s almost 60, overweight, with a bad back who has begun training like a gymnast. He’s proving all the naysayers wrong and turning his body into steel:

Hi Eddie and Andy,

Since buying your Gymnastic Abs program I can feel my body changing and toning up, literally. You have prepared me very well with the appropriate mentality for how this works with your “10 commandments” insert in the package. I get it. It’s a progression. No stick-with-it-ness, no progress.

I am really, really enjoying the fact that I know these exercises are good for my back health which candidly had been my #1 concern with crunches and other abs and core strengthening regimens. I tried some core strengthening exercises my oldest son uses, and I nearly got a hernia and I did hurt my back. No exaggeration.

My chiropractor (who is very good at what he does) recommended this program to get rid of the love handles and flab. He said his experience with his patients who used it was that your exercises were 100% consistent with good back health. I cannot tell you how many of my peers/friends have serious back problems and are not even 60 yrs. old yet! I am 59 and it dawned on me a few years ago that just losing weight wasn’t going to firm me up with my outsized mid-drift bulge.

I am so glad I found your material. I am certain that if I stick with it (and I definitely will) I am going to have great success in firming up and hardening my core. I am visualizing, anticipating and expecting all the benefits I know this will bring to my life.

Harden
Texas

EB: Hi Harden,

That’s awesome.  I’m glad you understand it’s a process of progression that you need to stick to; that is key. And the fact that you’re almost 60 doesn’t matter to you (because it doesn’t).

But most people think it’s too late and resign themselves to living with the flab and back pain.

Yes, these exercises are great for your back. If they didn’t build strong backs gymnasts couldn’t do what they do. Glad you have taken action to lose the fat AND get muscle – healthy functional muscle.

This is only the start. You will be amazed at what you’ll be able to do in a short time. Your body will get younger, leaner, fitter, stronger and healthier.

Thanks for your note and keep up the great work. Looking forward to hearing of your continued success.

There you have it. So what’s your excuse? Too old? Too fat? Too much pain? Truth is there is no excuse and Harden proves it. There comes a time when you’ve had enough of the oldness, pain and flab, and just decide you’re going to make a change. You can do it, I don’t care who you are.

Turn your body into steel today by getting Gymnastic Abs.

All the best,

Eddie Baran

Thank You

Each morning, I write out a list of what I’m thankful for.  This puts things in perspective for me and it just feels good to do. It keeps me in a constant state of gratitude. So, every day is a Giving Thanks Day for me.

I always write that I’m grateful for having you in my life, whether you’re a customer or email reader, because I do consider you as a friend and I’m thankful for it. So, I’d like to take this opportunity to formally thank you, {!firstname}, for being part of my life and making the ride a great one.

Most importantly, I’d like to remind you to please thank yourself for taking great care of your mind and body, and for treating yourself with compassion and respect on the road to lean and mean. Most people don’t thank themselves nearly enough or appreciate the good stuff. And there’s plenty of it.

For those who celebrate Thanksgiving, have a great Thanksgiving.  For those who don’t, have a great Giving Thanks Day.

With gratitude,

Eddie Baran

The 4 Secrets to Killer Abs

Everyone wants killer abs but they don’t know how to get them. So they look to the iron pumpers or the dandies on the supermarket exercise mags to show them the way.

Big mistake.

Your average pumped up massive bodybuilder with the bloated gargantuan muscles would break into a thousand pieces if he were to attempt even the most basic strength skill. This freak might look powerful but his core is as fragile as tissue paper.

And same goes for the pretty boys who grace the popular men’s fitness magazines. Those aren’t REAL abs. They might look good but they won’t stand up to the test of real abdominal strength.

A gymnast, on the other hand, has spectacular looking abs and spectacular acting abs. His abs can not only “talk the talk” but also “walk the walk.” His abs have both form AND function.

So what makes a gymnast’s core conditioning so spectacular and effective in giving him killer abs?

I chiseled it down to 4 secrets:

1. The Best Ab Exercises – A gymnast does the exercises that not only enable him to do incredible strength feats but also might end up saving his life. These exercises have to be good otherwise not only won’t he be able to do much, he might get seriously injured, or worse. These ab exercises build incredibly muscular abs for a reason.

2. The Best Training Method – It’s not only the special exercises but also HOW a gymnast does them. I call this “The Way of the Gymnast.” A gymnast can take the most basic exercise and turn it into gold. So imagine what happens when you get a great exercise and you do it in a spectacular way. You too will get gymnastic abs.

3. Progressive Goal-oriented Training – The key to gymnastic ab training is progression. You must progress from a simple exercise to a more difficult one. With this goal-oriented training you always have a major goal you work toward with minor goals along the way. This not only ensures you progress in strength but it also keeps you motivated and enthusiastic about working out. And I ain’t talking about doing more crunches or sit-ups. This means no matter what your current level you can get super strong by following these professions.

4. Total Body Training – When a gymnast trains his abs he’s not just training his abs. He’s training his entire body. The exercises you do and how you do them create a connection of all muscles in the body. I have a saying, “if you’re not training your entire body when you’re training your abs then you’re not really training your abs.” This makes gymnastic ab training more functional than any other type of ab training on the planet.

These 4 Secrets to Killer Abs are only in my Gymnastic Abs course. Get your killer abs here.

All the best,

Eddie Baran

Whatever Happened to Good Manners?

I’m noticing more and more how people have less and less manners. What gives?

Just the other day I was holding the door open at the post office for a young slacker dude. He didn’t say a word or even acknowledge me. No “thanks, bro” or even a nod. Nothing. I laughed it off and sounded like an old man by grumbling to myself about those young whippersnappers. Did it ruin my day? Of course not, but a little gratitude would’ve been nice.

And what’s with all the people being rude to waiters? They’re not your servants. Just treat them like you’d want to be treated. It’s common courtesy. And a word of advice: if you’re the type of person who has a superiority complex and feels like you must be rude to your waiter, then wait ’til AFTER you get your food is served, not before. That’s just common sense.

To me, manners is just showing respect and appreciation for others. It’s as natural as breathing, takes no effort but goes a long way.

Which brings me to the point of this email. Show respect and appreciation for yourself. Most people disrespect themselves by being rude to their own bodies. They do this by not exercising or doing the wrong exercises. They abuse, misuse, neglect and do all sorts of discourteous things to their own physiques.

Have good manners and behave like an Animal. Being an Animal is the most polite and respectful thing you can do. Your body will thank you by getting lean (but not mean), fit (but not fat) and fabulous (but not flabulous).

All the best,

Eddie Baran

P.S. Have your kids learn animal manners too.

How to Reduce Diabetes

There’s good news on the diabetes front. A recent study has shown that exercise alone will reduce the risk of diabetes in obese boys without a change in eating. That means even if your food intake didn’t change you’d still reduce the risk of diabetes.

This is incredible news. Changing eating habits is the most difficult, especially for children. So all you’d have to really do is add a little bit of exercise to your day to get the benefits – even if you’re obese. But the researchers found that it has to be resistance exercise.

Weights might do the trick but nothing will build lean muscle and burn flabby flab like bodyweight exercises, especially those of the animal kind (for adults or for kids) . Using all of your body in interesting and challenging ways is the ultimate resistance exercise – and best for decreasing diabetes risk.

Now, I’m not advocating eating like a pig. It’s best to adopt healthy eating habits no matter how effective an exercise program is. But the point is this: just by doing the right exercise you’ll be able significantly burn the flab, build your muscles, build your brain and reduce diabetes risk.

And remember, there’s no better flab burning, illness killing exercise than my animal exercises. Build muscle, build brains, reduce diabetes risk with Wild Animal Fitness for Kids.

Eddie Baran

Good News for Some, Bad News for Others

Yesterday an old acquaintance called me. Usually the guy is really funny and we have a good time yucking it up.

But every once in a while he gets in a real negative place and will complain about anything and everything, and yesterday he was in rare depressive form.

He just turned 62 and is constantly lamenting the fact that his body is falling apart:

He’s overweight.
His shoulders are wrecked.
His knees are shot.
He has no energy.

You know the song and dance.

In the past I’ve tried telling him this doesn’t have to be the case, that he can reverse the clock, get in great shape. But it’s fallen on deaf ears. He just doesn’t want to change. He’s getting something out of being a “victim of time,” as he puts it. (Though he’s really just a victim of his own making.) So I’ve learned not to say anything and just let him vent.

It made me realize the lengths people will go to in order not to take care of themselves – and to stay a physical mess. Like I said, he’s getting some satisfaction from being a victim and in pain.

Here’s the good news: Take care of your body and your body will take care of you. You’ll be healthier and fit regardless of your age. It’s all up to you, not fate, not your background, not anyone else, just YOU.

The bad news is that this is a hard pill to swallow for most people – that they are the reason they are in the shape they’re in. Sure, they might have had a cruddy upbringing, didn’t win the genetic lottery, had some rough times. All difficult, no doubt. But they all still have the power to change themselves.

This is good news because it means you are 100% empowered to change. You are not the puppet of some outside forces. Only you can change you. This is great news because now there’s no excuse – time, history, etc don’t matter.

To my acquaintance, and many others, this is bad news because it means there are no excuses and no more victimhood. You are held entirely accountable for who you are and who you become.

Even worse news for him – but better news for you – is that blubber loss and muscle building can be fast and fun when you do it Animal style.

All the best,

Eddie Baran

Why People Hate Ab Training

Most people HATE training their abs. It’s because the typical abdominal training is abominable. Here’s why:

1. Typical ab training feels painful. Most don’t mind a little pain but training the core the typical way is always the most unpleasant feeling. It’s not that good feeling of muscles working hard, but rather like something wasn’t working right.

2. One of the worst parts about typical ab exercises is that they’re boring to do. How many reps of a typical abdominal exercise can you do before you want to kill yourself? Take the sit-up, for example. You’d do 100 repetitions but what came after that? 200? 300? Is the only way to get better at an exercise to do more repetitions? If that’s the case then you’ll never see yourself getting very far; adding more and more reps isn’t appealing to anyone.

3. Worst of all, the typical ab training is ineffective. You might put up with the boredom and pain but you’re still not going to get results. I know because I’ve been there. I did everything I was supposed to do but my abs were still fat and weak. You won’t get real world, functional and super muscular abs by doing all the ab exercises everyone else is doing.

That’s why training your abs like a gymnast is the only answer. It’s the only ab training that really works for that matter.

Read all about why training your abs like a gymnast is the only way to get abs like a gymnast (even if you’re not one)

All the best,

Eddie Baran

P.S. Stop spinning your wheels doing endless crunches and situps. Cut down time and effort.

The Worst Drivers in America

This past year I traveled around a number of states, mostly in the west and midwest. I did a lot of driving so got a chance to see some pretty abysmal drivers, as well as some good ones.

Although I haven’t been in every state, the best drivers in the country, I think, are Texans. They’re smart, courteous and skillful. Texans are also some of the best people, too. I was there for a few weeks last winter and was impressed by the kind of people in the lone star state.

As far as the worst drivers go, the title doesn’t go to New Yorkers. I think drivers in NYC are actually pretty good. It might seem chaotic but it all works somehow.

No, the worst drivers, hands down, have got to be from the state of Michigan, with Minnesota a close second.

Tailgating, swerving, speeding, and every other traffic offense you can think of the Michiganites (Michiganonians?) have mastered. Kinda strange considering it’s where its history with the auto industry. Nothing against residents of the oven mitt state, as they’re all fine people, but they just can’t drive. Every time I drive there I think I take 10 years of my life.

And those Minnesotans? Don’t ask. Minnesota nice translates to Minnesota passive-aggressive on the road.

Strange thing is that I really like midwesterners, but I think they’re a little lacking in the driving skills department.

What’s this have to do with health? Everything. Your health tip for today is watch out for idiot drivers, especially of the drunk variety, ’cause your life depends on it. This is a holiday weekend here in the states so watch out, please.

I’ve made my share of dumb mistakes on the road so I’m extra vigilant to be courteous and aware. Just make sure you pay attention to what you’re doing and if you’ve had anything to drink might be best to let someone else take the wheel.

All the best,

Eddie Baran

P.S. I’ve been talking about a new fitness program I’ll be releasing. Next week I’ll be announcing it.
